The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. One great feature is the attached garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Comfortable and cozy, with friendly staff and a great breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the blankets were some of the best I've ever had. The hotel had a great location for motorcycle enthusiasts, with secure off-street parking. It was also conveniently located near a train station, which made exploring the area easy.
The hotel was starting to show its age and could use some updates. The restaurant had a limited dinner menu, and the food took a while to arrive.

The hotel had a good location close to Freiburg but surrounded by the forest, which provided a beautiful view from the bedroom terrace. the room was quiet but needed some maintenance, as some of the linens weren't comfortable and the bathroom was lacking toiletries. the breakfast was great and extensive, with a lot of choices. the restaurant's customer service was an issue, with staff speaking limited English, a long waiting time to order, and a slow payment process.
The hotel lacked efficient customer service, with a slow ordering and payment process and staff having limited English language skills.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Black Forest. The location was perfect - close to Freiburg for convenience, yet surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to assist with any queries or requests. The rooms were spacious, well-lit, and had a charming garden attached, perfect for a relaxing evening. The attention to detail was evident, with comfortable beds, ample hot water, and a bath and shower combination - a rare find! The restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast spread. this hotel offered great value for money and I would definitely return.
Couldn't find any faults - everything was exceptional!

The staff at this hotel were always available to help and very friendly. the comfortable beds and plenty of hot water were a great surprise. We also enjoyed the great value for the hotel stay. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area with a short walk to the railway station where we enjoyed some good meals.
The hotel decor felt a bit outdated, and it lacked some updated furnishings. Although the limited dinner menu left us wanting more, it wasn't a major problem since we could eat at the railway station down the road.
